Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is one of 12 jyotirlinga of LORD SHIVA situated in Ujjain,Madhya pradesh.
Here lord Vishnu and Brahma argued in terms of Supermacy of creation lord Shiva appeared in form of pillar of light and solved the controversy. Lord Vishnu accepted his defeat but bramha  lied to Shiv ji that he found the end. Shiva appeared as a second pillar of light and cursed Brahma that he would have no place in ceremonies while Vishnu would be worshipped till the end of eternity

Rameshwaram Temple
